Selling a Gift Card

1 You are able to sell Gift Card from either the Touch POS for retail or the Invoice screen.

2. Enter the gift certificate name or item number.

3. Upon selecting the item gift certificate a window will open asking for the Gift Certificate Number. If you are using preprinted gift certificates which have a number enter that number here. If your gift certificates are not already numbered simply leave this field blank and press OK and Global Office will automatically assign a gift certificate number.

4. Ensure you have selected a Customer when selling a gift certificate. This is important as it will allow you to find the gift certificate later on if it is ever lost or stolen.

5. Complete the transaction as normal taking the payment against the gift certificate. The Gift Certificate does not get recognized as revenue until the gift certificate is redeemed.
