Rental Pricing Rate

Rentals are important to your business, and you need flexibility when it comes to pricing. Charge by (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) rental rates.

To set up your rental pricing rate you have two options:

A - Import Rental Pricing per Rental Product (fast)

B - Enter Rental Pricing when editing a Rental Product

A - Import Rental Pricing per Rental Product (fast)

1. Select the settings module.

2. Click on 'Products' under the 'Import' heading on the right-hand side.

3. Click on the 'Setup Template', and be sure to check off the 'Daily Rental Cost', 'Weekly Rental Cost', and 'Monthly Rental Cost'.

4. Change the 'Product Type' Dropdown to 'Rental Products'.

5. Click on 'Download Template', from there open the downloaded Microsoft Excel file. Be sure that at the minimum, the product # is listed along with the price of the rental per 'day, week, and month'.

If a rental product with the same product # is already in your system, it will override the information that was in for your system.

6. Import the file in CSV form. To learn how to import products (click here).

B - Enter Rental Pricing when editing a Rental Product

1. Click on the Inventory module.

2. Click on Rental Products, under the Rental Items heading.

3. Open the product that you would like to edit.

4. Click on the 'Rental' tab.

5. Enter the price you would like to charge per 'Day, Week, and Month'.

6. Finish by clicking on Save.
