You can set up sales on individual products, product categories, product departments, or all products. If you know what sales you will run for the entire year, you can set them all up in advance, add the dates the sales will start and end, and how much of a discount you are providing. The discount can be by dollar amount or by percentage, or you can choose to set to an exact price.
For example, from February 1-15, you might decide to put all of your electric scooters on sale for 15% off. Or you might give $5 off the purchase of any battery.
To set up a sale:
Go to Settings.
Under the Promotions Heading, choose Sales
Choose New Sale.

Give the Sale a Name
Set the start and end date of the sale. (If there is no end date, leave the end date blank and click on the No End box to check it.
Set the value and choose Dollars Off, Percent Off, or Exact Price.
If you only want certain people to get the sale price, choose the Customer Group you want the sale to apply to.
On the right side, add the items, categories, or departments you want the sale to apply to.
Choose Save.
