1. Go to Settings.
2. From under the Promotions Heading, choose Promotions
3. Choose New Promotion
4. Under the Details Heading:
- Name the Promotion
- Choose the type of promotion: Automatically applied when certain items are purchased, or when a code is entered for certain items or for the entire transaction.
- Choose the start and end dates for the promotion. If the promotion has no end date, choose the No End box.
TIP: You can create as many promotions in advance as you'd like, and they will simply start and end according to the dates you applied. - Enter the amount off for the promotion, and choose whether that amount is a percentage off or dollars off.
- Choose if the promotion is to be applied to one customer group only, or leave the field as is to apply the promotion to all customers.
- Set the status to active or inactive.
5. Under the Promotion Items Heading:
Choose the items which will be affected by the promotion. You can choose individual items, categories, departments, a class of products, or all products.
6. Choose Save.
