Do you ship via 3rd-party and charge customers directly for delivery? Use the post-tax shipping costs to add a flat fee to your (Quotes, Sales Orders, Invoices). This shipping charge is applied regardless of the size or weight of the shipment.
Example
Tyson's furniture store uses ABC Shipping Express to deliver its furniture. Tyson was quoted ($45.68 - taxes included) from ABC Shipping Express to ship to a customer. That shipping is then passed directly to the customer.
In this case, Tyson opens the customer's Quote for $1000 worth of furniture and adds $45.68 under the shipping amount and clicks on save. A PDF of the Quote is populated and shows the total for the products plus the total for shipping post-tax that are summed to create the total of the Quote for $1045.68.
Steps
Go to the Accounting Page and create a new (Quote, Sales Order, Invoice) or click on the (Quote, Sales Order, Invoice) list.

On the (Quote, Sales Order, Invoice) fill out the customer's name and products that will be shipped. Then in the bottom right, under Shipping, list the amount that the third party shipping company will be charging your company that is passed to the customer.
